Charity Work

Giving something back is very important to me, and so that is why helping charities is part of my business model.

There are 3 main ways in which I help charities, these are:

  1. Through putting on or taking part in fundraising events for charities.
  2. Through consulting with charities to offer them advice and support to make sure their events are even more special and successful.
  3. Passing on relevant supplier and resource knowledge that I have.

I am currently working with a local charity called the Rae Rae Trust, this charity works with children that have cancer and their families to create a ‘wish’ for them all to experience together. I am giving them event ideas and helping organise their events with them. I will also be running the London Marathon next year for them, trying to raise as much money as possible for this worthy cause.

Recently I have also helped MK Hospital with sourcing suppliers for their charity events, to make their events run even more seamlessly.

Previously, I have carried out: Horse Race Night events, Casino Nights, Murder Mystery evenings and helped in the planning of Balls. In a past marathon I ran I raised over £550 for Alzheimer Society, and with my partner and friends have done numerous different walking events to raise much needed funds for worthy causes.
